Foxes Honey: The Full Story
A Nature-Loving Family
"Natural quality honey" is our motto here at Foxes Honey. What started as a hobby in 2018, after attending a basic introduction to keeping bees held by the Whitstable and Herne Bay Beekeepers, I became hooked. Soon I was attending weekly meetings at the local teaching apiary. On May 24th 2019, I captured a swarm with Sam Day, one of my mentors. The bees multiplied like mad, requiring me to get a full-sized hive and honey supers in my first season. I enlisted my daughter Kerry on this adventure, and she has also become a member of the local club. We had a crop of honey weighing in at 25lb. In 2020 we had three hives and a yield of just over 100lb. In 2021, we expanded again to 9 hives of bees. 2022 was a massive year for us, we now have 22 production colonies on farms in Kent, and my wife Elaine joined me in keeping the bees. Our business is now thriving with dozens of beehives and various products. In everything we do, we are committed to producing natural, eco-friendly, healthy goods at affordable prices.
