Today's quick hive check revealed some fascinating insights about our winter colonies. Thanks to our improved winterising techniques, our winter losses are very low, a testament to our growing confidence and management.

I noticed our stronger colonies maintaining perfect cluster formations during today's inspection. The fondant we placed last week is consumed steadily, suggesting healthy colony strength. This winter management approach is crucial as we expand our business this year.



Quick Tip:

Listen before you look! A healthy winter colony produces a gentle hum when you tap the side of the hive. Today's sound check gave me confidence in our colonies' vigour.
